How Consulting Hours Work
SBE consulting is sold in advance as a block of hours. Purchasing hours reserves time that will be scheduled and delivered directly, one-on-one.
Before Your First Session
If you cancel before your first scheduled session, you’ll receive a full refund — no questions asked.
Once Work Has Begun
Hours already delivered are non-refundable — that time has been spent working directly on your business and can’t be recovered. Any hours you’ve purchased but not yet used remain refundable at any time, on request.
Expiration
Purchased hours must be used within 12 months of purchase. Unused hours beyond that window are forfeited unless other arrangements are made in advance.
What’s Guaranteed — and What Isn’t
SBE guarantees the quality of the analysis, systems, and recommendations delivered during your consulting hours. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, since results depend heavily on how those systems are implemented and run after they’re delivered — the same way an engineer can design a system correctly but can’t guarantee how carefully it’s operated afterward.

This policy applies to hourly consulting services. Multi-week engagements, such as the SBE Business X-Ray, will have their own written terms provided at the time of purchase.
